RHI Magnesita’s subsidiary, Intermetal Engineers (India), has successfully acquired 100% of Ashwath Technologies for Rs 14 crore. This move strengthens RHI Magnesita’s position in the Indian market.
4. Welspun Specialty Solutions
Welspun Specialty Solutions has secured a contract from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) for supplying 4,050 tons of stainless steel seamless boiler tubes. The contract is valued at Rs 231.77 crore and pertains to supercritical thermal power projects.
5. Force Motors
Force Motors has reported a 46.28% year-on-year increase in sales for February 2025, with a total of 3,600 units sold compared to 2,461 units in February 2024. This growth indicates strong demand for their products.
6. GE Vernova T&D India
GE Vernova T&D India has won three orders worth Rs 500 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India. These orders involve the supply and installation of transformers and reactors for bulk procurement.
7. JSW Energy
JSW Energy has received approval from the Competition Commission of India (CCI) for the acquisition of KSK Mahanadi Power Company. This acquisition will help strengthen JSW Energy's market position and capacity.
8. Rail Vikas Nigam
Rail Vikas Nigam has secured a project worth Rs 729.82 crore from HPSEBL. The project involves the development of distribution infrastructure in Himachal Pradesh as part of the Revamped Reforms-based and Results-linked Distribution Sector Scheme.
9. Ola Electric Mobility
Ola Electric has received a notice from IFCI regarding the company’s failure to meet Milestone-1 under a Programme Agreement dated July 28, 2022. The company is actively engaging with the authorities to resolve this issue.
10. Ambuja Cements
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has unconditionally approved Ambuja Cements’ acquisition of a 72.8% stake in Orient Cement. This acquisition is set to enhance Ambuja's presence in the cement industry.
11. Biocon
Biocon Pharma, a subsidiary of Biocon, has received final approval from the USFDA for two ANDAs — Lenalidomide capsules and Dasatinib tablets. These drugs are used in treating various cancers, including multiple myeloma and chronic myeloid leukemia.
12. ABB India
ABB India’s subsidiary, ABB Motion, has made a strategic investment in AI startup UptimeAI through ABB Motion Ventures. This investment aims to transform how industrial customers manage the health and performance of motors and drives.
13. Coforge
Coforge has signed a partnership with Sabre Corporation to accelerate product delivery and launch AI-driven solutions in the travel technology sector. Additionally, Coforge announced a 1:5 equity share split.
14. Adani Wilmar
Adani Wilmar has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire GD Foods Manufacturing (India), the owner of the 'Tops' brand. The acquisition will be completed in multiple tranches, with the first tranche involving 80% of the shares.
15. Apollo Hospitals Enterprise
Apollo Hospitals plans to establish a comprehensive Oncology Centre, which will feature India's first Proteus One Proton System. This facility, estimated at Rs 250 crore, is expected to be operational over the next three years.
16. Grasim Industries
Grasim Industries has begun the commercial production of Birla Opus Paints at its Mahad plant in Maharashtra. This marks the start of five out of its six greenfield plants. The company now has an installed capacity of 1,096 million litres per annum (MLPA) for decorative paints.
17. Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC)
ONGC Green, a subsidiary of ONGC, has acquired a 100% stake in PTC Energy for Rs 925 crore. PTC Energy operates wind energy assets with a total capacity of 288.80 MW, reinforcing ONGC’s push into renewable energy.
18. Power Grid Corporation of India
Power Grid Corporation has won three projects under the Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer (BOOT) model to develop an interstate transmission system. These projects are set to enhance the transmission infrastructure in the region.
